...the Madam President

Greetings Sisters! As our new officers take over for our new year I hope you will all congratulate them and give them your support! I am looking forward to a fun filled year working in harmony with our Brothers. We have State Convention this month and National Convention is coming up soon as well! I hope to see many of you attend because we always have so much fun with our Brothers and Sisters from other Aeries! Don't forget the 2nd meeting of the month is the Auxiliary pitch in! We always have plenty of food and lots of fun sitting around chatting!

I am pleased to announce that for this year we have an Auxiliary Father and Grandfather! The Auxiliary Father is John Himes and the Auxiliary Grandfather is Bob Witte!

I hope all of our Brothers have a wonderful Father's Day!

Madam President Genevie L. Robinson

Membership is still growing - keep bringing them in. We will be serving the alcohol for the Pete Jarvis Organization Cornstock Fundraiser June 12 with a rain date set for June 13. This is our first year being involved. It should not only benefit us, but local charities as well. We will be having a fundraiser for Patty Buckler soon. We are working on a date at this time and we will inform the membership as soon as possible.

Your Secretary, Dennis Kelsay

We have done well this year on signing new members. If you know of an applicant that needs to be initiated, please check with the bartenders. There will now be a list of all applicants ready to be initiated. This will help everyone stay on the same page. If you need your official receipt (dues card), check with the bartenders. Also, if you propose an applicant, please come with her to be initiated; you may be the only person she knows.

I would like to say congratulations to all our officers. Great job to the 2009-2010 officers, and good luck to the 2010-2011 officers. Because of your devotion to the ideals of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, this Auxiliary stays strong.

I would like to thank my Sisters for your continued support as I work my way through the State Offices.

Madam Secretary Diane Himes

LOCAL NEWS

J.O.E.

Hello JOEs and JOE parents, grandparents, relatives, and friends! My name is Genevie, I am the current Madam President of the Auxiliary, and I will be taking over as JOE Sponsor for this year. It looks like we've missed out on a couple of meetings so we're going to get back in the swing of things this month! We will be having our JOE meeting the FOURTH Sunday in June, so it'll be on June 30th at 2pm! We will have nominations for officer chairs at that time, so please show up and take a seat!! We will also be going to help out at the Beech Grove Rupert's Ride on June 13th! Please be at the Shelbyville Aerie by 11am so we can all go over and help Beech Grove have a successful day!! A reminder to the Charter Members of the JOEs, your dues are needed by June 1. Since we've missed a few meetings though, we'll give you until July 31 to get your dues in. Your dues are $3.00.

If you would like to take an officer position but can't be at the next meeting, please have an adult write you a note, or write a note yourself, to leave at the bar for me so we can declare that you'd like to be nominated!

I look forward to an awesome year with all of you!

JOE Sponsor, Genevie Robinson

Well it's getting close to our yearly big event. We have passed out a ton of flyers and everyone is working really hard to make this event a doozie. Tonya Haze and Y-106 are on board, and 650 North will be playing for the event. As we get closer we will need some help getting sponsors and getting things together for the event. Keep your calendar clear for July 17th and come be a part of this. "People Helping People" is what we stand for and this event will do just that.

Remember our weekly rides have been moved to Sundays. We leave the Aerie @ 11:00am sharp and return on or before 3:00pm. Would like to see you there.

Keep the shiny side up, JR, Eagle Riders #766 President
